Explore Iceland with
Siren Adventures
It was great to see you.
Thank you so much for stopping by our stand at the Birmingham NEC. If you’ve made it this far then you’ve either grabbed one of our leaflets so you can find out more, or we had a lovely chat about all things Iceland and you want to dive in and know even more about an experience with Siren Adventures.
What is a Siren Adventures Tour?
A tour with us is an experience like no other. Whether you are a photographer or an adventurer, our expert guides take you on the trip of a lifetime to explore some of the most iconic and incredible locations Iceland has to offer. It’s more than just a bus trip or an excursion, its an immersive experience from start to finish, exploring breathtaking waterfalls, glacier lagoons, rugged landscapes and chasing the northern lights. Every day is a chance to delve into the natural wonders of Iceland from the West coast to the East, theres something for everyone. We are photographers at heart, and each location is chosen for not just its natural beauty but its photographic opportunities to capture amazing landscapes at the best possible times of day and weather. Tours range from private groups such as couples and families, to our popular group tours of upto 6 people with people travelling with us from all over the world.
Who is it suitable for?
As long as you have a basic level of fitness, and are mobile enough to walk some unsteady ground, our adventures are suitable for you. We understand everyone has different abilities and needs, and this forms an important part of our planning to make sure each and every guest on our tours gets the best out of their time with us. Previous guest have ranged from age 5 upto age 80. The locations we visit have great access, parking and there are often facilities either en route or at the location. If you fancy a hike further into the location, you can, or you can admire the landscape from less than a few hundred yards from the car park. Icelanders make many locations as accessible as possible for all.
Not just for photographers
Our trips are photography focussed, and led by guides whom themselves are professional photographers, but that doesn’t mean you have to be too. We welcome photographers ranging from hobbyists and amateur, to professionals. However many of our guests join us for the experience itself, taking in the beauty of Iceland with the peace of mind of being looked after by two knowledgable and friendly tour guides. Let us take care of all the planning, scheduling and weather watching so you can sit back and take it all in.
Locations we visit.
As you can imagine, there’s a lot to see in Iceland, and each trip is planned around many factors such as group size, weather/time of year, trip duration, physical ability and client conversations. To give you an idea, heres a map we use to save spots we’ve been or would like to go. Our tours are focussed on the southern part of the Island, starting day 1 in the west near the airport, and over to the east at Vestrahorn during our 6 day tours. Smaller groups benefit from having access to the highland areas, further in land due to the options for off road vehicles. One thing is for sure, we aren’t short of incredible places to visit.
“ My tour with Siren Adventures was beyond incredible. I came home not just with some brilliant pictures to edit and display on my walls, but some amazing memories of the places we visited. Darren & Jon put so much effort into making sure you make the most of each and every day of the tour, knowing all the best spots but also constantly checking weather patterns and northern light forecasts. All I had to do was hop in the van and enjoy it, without all the stress.”
- Andrew.
